Behind the Song:

This song was one of the last additions to my track list for my debut CD.  I've always loved this traditional song, and sing it very often at Holy Hours and at Mass.

When I made this arrangement of this traditional classic, I was looking to add some extra life to this already beautiful hymn.  By changing the time signature, altering the rhythm of the melody a little bit, and writing in a new tag refrain between the verses, I feel I was able to bring a new youthful feel.

This was also a very fun song for me to record!  I included some elements and effects that I've never really used before and I was able to play around with different sounds and rhythms while recording the song.  That, to me, is equally as much fun as playing a video game might be to someone else!

It was a really fun way for me to wrap up recording for the album!
